👋🏽My name is Neel Reddy. For the next year, I will have unfettered access to China’s top officials, businesspeople, and institutions despite being a foreigner in a zero-COVID China (this is why).
🔎 I plan to use that access to understand the trajectory of China’s nascent cultured meat (and alt proteins) ecosystem.
🤔 I will investigate the progress of Chinese cultured meat companies, how the Chinese regulatory environment is shaping up, what foreign cultured meat companies should know, and more!
💡 I expect to learn how to conduct business in China, including navigating bureaucracy, working within political institutions, and more! All from the perspective of a foreigner working within a new industry.
